24 hours later: Full Tilt Poker still down

Its been 24 hours since we announced that Full Tilts license has been officially revoked, and things have not changed as of yet. The site is still down, players are still unable to enter any table on Full Tilt, and the overall situation is still looking grim for the online poker site. With still no word from Full Tilt Poker officials, the only thing that has changed is the message that greets you when you log on to the FTP website.

Theyre done playing it off as a simple scheduled maintenance, but this is as far as Full Tilt has gone when it comes to aknowledging the problem. The rumor mill has been working non stop, though, and we heard numerous updates containing probably as many stories.

Christophe and Matti do the WSOP (Week 1)

The countdown has come to an end. The first of June has finally come! Our plane to Las Vegas is waiting at the gates of Brussels airport ready to take us to the city of sins. At 6:30 in the morning we start packing our bags. Although we didn’t catch a lot of sleep, we aren’t really as edgy as we normally are when leaving for a long trip in the early morning.

We arrive at the Airport at about 8:45, well in time. Our flight only leaves at 10:55 so we have all the time in the world to get some food and relax a bit. At that moment we get our first beat of the day. Off all the planes departing that morning, our flight is the only one that has a two hour delay.

Sahara Begins Liquidation Sale Of 58-Year-Old Artifacts

Thursday, June 16, saw the start of Saharas liquidation sale. It started off with over 600,000 items and the sale will last two months. Everything is being sold from silverware to toilets. The sale comes after the Sahara Hotel shut down a month ago.

The History

The Sahara Hotel soon became an icon of the Las Vegas Strip, after it appeared in Oceans Eleven that was released in the 1960s. However, it finally shut down after 58 years on May 16, 2011. The owner of the casino SBE Entertainment stated that the hotel was no longer economically viable and thus, the decision was taken that it should be closed.

Full Tilt Poker on sale, Stalemate to end?

For the past three days latest poker news have covered the most exciting piece of news that appeared in the poker scene recently: the Full Tilt Poker standoff against its regulating agency, the AGCC. The latest rumor, and so far the most believable out of all of the hundreds of rumors spread all over the internet, puts Full Tilt Poker on sale. The suspected buyers? A group of European investors, who are said to take the wheel of this sinking ship and try to salvage it.

Ever since the Black Friday events, American players have not been able to get their money from Full Tilt Poker and there were a lot of money to be handed out, with an estimated $150 million owed by Full Tilt to their U.S.
